Online Therapy in Pasadena
For Pasadena families who want therapy in the language they feel at home in. Sessions are available in English or Spanish, by secure video.

Therapy in the Language of Your Heart
Some feelings are hard to say in a second language. For many families in Pasadena and east Harris County, Spanish is the language of home, prayer and the hardest conversations.
Debbie Vidana is bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience working with children and families. She can work with you in Spanish, in English or in a mix of both.
You do not have to choose between being understood and getting help. Speaking freely in your first language can make it easier to talk about what hurts.
When One Family Lives in Two Languages
In many homes, parents are most comfortable in Spanish and kids are most comfortable in English. Misunderstandings grow in that gap. Family sessions can give everyone a way to be understood.
Children sometimes end up translating for their parents at school or at the doctor, and that role can be a heavy one to carry. Sessions can help parents and kids find a better balance and talk about feelings that are hard to put into words.
- Parent and child conflict
- Stress after a move or family separation
- Grief and loss
- Anxiety and sadness in children and adults
Practical Details
Sessions happen by secure video, so there is no traffic on 225 and no time off to drive to an office. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
You need a phone, tablet or computer and a private space, and you must be physically in Texas during each session.
Help Through the Changes Families Face
Families who have moved, been separated for a time or are caring for relatives in two countries carry a lot. Children may adjust quickly while parents feel lonely or worried, and grandparents may feel left behind.
Therapy gives each person room to share how the changes have affected them. Your counselor helps the family find new routines and new ways to support each other, while keeping the traditions and language that matter to you.
Adults can also come on their own, in English or Spanish, for anxiety, sadness or grief.

Common Questions
- Can my family's sessions be fully in Spanish?
- Yes, with Debbie Vidana. Tell our office you prefer Spanish when you reach out so we can plan your sessions with her.
- Can the parents speak Spanish and the kids speak English in the same session?
- Yes. A bilingual counselor can follow both languages, which helps everyone feel heard.
- Do I need special equipment?
- No. A smartphone with a camera works. A quiet room and headphones make it easier to talk privately.
