Real Therapy for Real People
Faith-Based Counseling
For clients who want their faith to be part of counseling, as much or as little as they choose.
Is This You?
You might be thinking:
- "I want a counselor who respects my faith."
- "I've been struggling with my faith and want to talk about it."
- "My church is important to me, but I need more support."
- "I want to learn to love again: myself, my faith, my family."

You Decide the Role Faith Plays
For many of our clients, faith is part of how they cope, make decisions and find meaning. Leaving it out of counseling can feel like leaving out part of yourself.
You choose how much faith comes into sessions. Some clients want prayer or scripture in the conversation; others just want a counselor who understands their values.
What We Help With
- Bringing your faith into counseling for depression, anxiety or trauma
- Questions or struggles with faith
- Marriage concerns with shared values
- Grief and loss
- Church or ministry stress

Faith-based sessions use the same counseling approaches as any other session.
You set the level
Your counselor follows your lead on how much faith to include.
No preaching
